Vel Tech offers UG, PG and Ph.D. Programmes in both Engineering and Management. The institute has made distinctive prograss since the founding in 1997, by adopting the unique and treanding educational methodologies.
Vel Tech is the first member from india to be part of CDIO, an innovative educational framework for producing the next generation of engineers.Vel Tech has been recognized as the best Engineering Institution and ranked as First in india and 74th in the world by Times Higher Education World Young University Ranking 2016-2017 and 43rd in Asia University Ranking 2017. The TBI (Technology Business Incubator) of Vel Tech is recognized as the center of Excellence under NIDHI by the Government of India.
ABOUT the SCHOOL
The School presistently strives for achieving excellence in the computing disciplines. The sustained effort is to produce computing graduates with potential to design and develop system involving the integration of software and hardware devices; inoovative approaches to programming and problem solving as well as creative ways to use computers; large scale software systems; and computing infracture of an organization. The School of Computing - Vel Tech pioneers World-class center of excellence in education and participatory approaches to nurture effective capabilities for the development of high quality technical and scientific manpower to meet the challenges of the knowledge era.
The School has one of the best infractures including domain-specific labs associated with the above technical divisions. Many of these labs are sponsored by industry leaders. The School has a good record of organizing seminars, workshops, symposia, and conferences in Emerging Technologies.
